about Arrow Motors

Arrow Motors is a family-run dealership, tire shop and NAPA AUTOPRO service centre at 188 Talbot St W in Aylmer, Ontario.

we sell used vehicles, we fix them, we sell and fit tires, we supply parts, and we store vehicles over the winter. all of it from one site, which is the reason the car you buy from us was reconditioned by the same technicians who will service it afterwards.

what we do differently, in one sentence

we publish the reconditioning work we did to every vehicle, and what it cost.

not "210-point inspection". that phrase is on every dealer's website in the country and it tells you nothing: not what was wrong with the car, not what was replaced, not what was spent.

ours says front pads and rotors. four tires. a timing belt. with the figure beside it, on the page for that specific car.

why we do it

because it is the only claim a dealership makes that can be checked.

every dealer says their vehicles are thoroughly inspected. no customer can verify it, so the words have stopped meaning anything, and everybody knows it. a number you can look at is different in kind.

it also disciplines us. once the figure is published we cannot quietly skip something and still describe the car as ready, and a customer can see when we spent very little and ask why.

we publish the small numbers too. a figure you only show when it flatters you is advertising rather than information.

the rest of it

the shop is real and it is open to everybody. we are a NAPA AUTOPRO service centre working on all makes and models, not a back room that exists to prepare our own stock. qualifying repairs carry the Peace of Mind warranty, 36 months or 60,000 kilometres, honoured at NAPA AutoCare centres across North America.

we started as a tire shop. Arrow Motors grew out of Arrow Tire, and tires are still a large part of the week.

two prices, always. every vehicle shows a finance price and a cash price, both plus HST and licensing, because a cash buyer genuinely pays more and finding that out at the desk is not a good way to meet somebody.
