accessibility

• every page works without JavaScript. the text, prices and forms are in the page as sent, so screen readers, older browsers and slow connections all get the same content.
• every form field has a visible label, every button says what it does, and all of it can be operated with a keyboard alone. keyboard focus is shown with a visible outline.
• a “skip to content” link is the first thing on every page for keyboard and screen reader users.
• text colours are checked against the WCAG contrast requirement, and we correct any that fall short.
• vehicle photographs carry a description, and decorative images are marked so they are skipped.
• animation is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
• tables scroll sideways on small screens rather than being cut off, and every page works at 200% zoom.

• the chat window and the video player are provided by other services and we cannot change how they behave. if either is hard to use, phone us instead and you will reach the same people.
• vehicle history reports open on CARFAX’s website, which has its own accessibility practices.
